This smart colt has a really good walk and a real touch of star quality about him. He was purchased at Book 2 of the Tattersalls Yearling Sales at Newmarket where he could easily have achieved a sum well in excess of his purchase price. He is by a very successful stallion out of a Listed-winning dam who was second in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes and third in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac at two - put quite simply, this colt has got it all! Whilst we wouldn't expect him to be a very early sort, he is exceptionally athletic and should be ready to debut mid-summer. This colt is currently unnamed and all owners will be invited make name suggestions.
UPDATE: This colt is training very well and Richard Hughes likes him a great deal. He is progressing very well in his cantering work and should be active on the racecourse as a two-year-old this season. He is a very high-quality individual.
His sire: LAWMAN is a son of the high-class sire Invincible Spirit and himself was a top racehorse. He won his only appearance at two and at three won the Group 1 Prix du Jockey (French Derby) over 1m 2f and also the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat over 1m. Lawman is the sire of an impressive five individual Group 1 winners to date, including the 2016 St Leger winner Harbour Law, Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Just The Judge, Racing Post Trophy winner Marcel and St James's Palace Stakes victor Most Improved.

She also finished 2nd, beaten only a head, in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes (7f) at The Curragh and finished her season with a strong third to Six Perfections in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp's Arc meeting.
