This beautifully bred filly is trained by leading Newmarket handler Roger Varian (Biddestone Racing’s most successful trainer) who describes her as thoroughly professional with an “eye-catchingly athletic and balanced action”. Minor juvenile growing pains have prevented her from seeing the racecourse to date but all of those niggles are behind her and she is really impressing her trainer and should now be ready to make her debut during October.
Molly Kool is a strong, athletic, good moving individual with a good attitude to her work. Everyone who has had the pleasure to deal with her has noted that whatever she is asked to do, she does it both willingly and with ease. She is bred to be effective over sprint distances and certainly looks sharp enough in her work.
Sired by Helmet (son of Exceed & Excel), she is a three-parts sister to Priceless (Exceed & Excel ex-Molly Brown) who won the Group 2 Temple Stakes at Haydock Park, earning an official rating of 110 in the process. Molly Brown herself produces top-quality foals, with 10 winners from 10 runners and her 2017 filly foal by Dutch Art was sold for 450,000 guineas as a yearling.
She follows in the footsteps of successful Biddestone Stud homebred fillies such as Modernstone and Paco’s Angel, both of whom were multiple winners and black-type performers including a third place finish in the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot in the case of Paco’s Angel. She is also from the same family as Pixeleen, another previous Biddestone syndicate filly who was a serial winner and black-type performer,
The filly is offered as a lease syndicate in 1/16th shares for an initial period up to the end of the 2021 flat season (31st October 2021)
