This beautiful filly has a wonderful pedigree and is a truly outstanding racing prospect. She has great strength, good conformation and a wonderfully-tough attitude. She was bred by Biddestone Stud and is being offered for syndication as she is a filly that has always been viewed as a potentially high-class racehorse. Her sire Lope De Vega is a son of the great stallion Shamardal and he is already proven as a producer of top-class racehorses. He was a dual Classic winner, landing the French 2,000 Guineas and Derby following a successful two-year-old campaign. As a sire he has produced six Gr.1 winners to date, including the Lockinge Stakes and Dewhurst Stakes winner Belardo.
This filly has shown a tremendous attitude and aptitude to her work since joining Richard Hannon. She is a fast learner and is already showing up very well. Her strength and pedigree suggest that she should be running fairly early in the new Flat turf season, currently expected to be around May, and being by one of the best stallions in Europe the sky is the limit for her!
Her Sire: LOPE DE VEGA was a top-class racehorse and a dual-Classic winner at three, winning the French 2,000 Guineas and Derby. To date he is the sire of 78 Stakes performers, including 22 Group race winners and 21 winners at Listed level. Those high-class winners include six Gr. 1 winners, viz the Dewhurst Stakes (at two) and Lockinge Stakes winner Belardo, also Capla Temptress, Jemayel, Santa Ana Lane, The Right Man and Vega Magic. Lope De Vega, who will stand as a sire in 2019 for his highest ever covering fee of €80,000, is a son of sire of sires Shamardal, a four-time Group 1 winner. He is 57% winners to runners to date and his progeny has amassed prize money earnings exceeding £5million.
Her Dam: STYLISHY is a superbly-bred mare. She is a full-sister to the Gr.3 Prix Penelope and dual-Listed race winner Humouresque and also a half-sister to the very fast sprinter Danehurst, a multiple Group race winner (including at two) who was also placed second in the Gr.1 Golden Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and third in the Gr.1 July Cup. It is a very speedy family which also includes the high-class two-year-olds Dazzle and Hooray.
